The treehouse is beautifully built from salvaged timber from the property by the owner and a few of his friends.
It's rustic yet very comfortable, with a king-size memory foam bed in the loft, and downstairs, and has a good size sofa to sleep an extra person, or you can let the owners know if you would like an air mattress to accommodate 4 people total. While the owners do allow additional people upon request the space is only set up for 2. The cabin is equipped with a BBQ, cold drinking water cistern, refrigerator, coffee maker, silverware, plates, bowls, glasses, bottle opener, and coffee mugs. The treehouse also has heat. Decorated with Leavenworth local art, some of the owner's nature photographs, hand-crafted log furniture, and wood accents also from the property, adorn the space.
Enjoy locally roasted coffee and tea while sitting on the deck overlooking Hansel Creek or by the propane firepit year round.
The treehouse shares 150 acres, the heated indoor shower with hot water and bathroom in a separate building with the other two cabins about 100 feet from the treehouse, and a seasonal outdoor shower which is closed from October through April due to freezing temps. Don't forget to bring snow shoes, skis, mountain bikes, and hiking boots to explore everything the beautiful 150 acres of private property has to offer including Pristine Hansel Creek just outside the treehouse door and the family-owned Mineshaft from the early 1900s that was hand dug by the owners great grandpa. Don't forget to try your luck with the gold pan in Hansel Creek, Blewett Pass has a long history of gold prospecting (gold pans are provided).

Guests have access to the entire treehouse, common areas, and surrounding property. The treehouse is accessed by a gravel trail. From the parking area, it is approximately an 80-foot hike up to the treehouse ramp. During the winter season, the area does experience considerable snowfall. While they do provide snow removal for the driveway and pathways conditions can change very quickly creating ice and slick areas. Please come prepared for slippery winter driving and walking conditions.
The treehouse is nestled in the foothills of the Cascade mountains in Washington state, 15 minutes from the beautiful Bavarian village of Leavenworth with its year-round events.
Hiking, biking, climbing, fishing, white water rafting, golf, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling are all just minutes from your cabin door. Steven's Pass and Mission Ridge ski areas are less than an hour away.
