The off-grid home can accommodate up to 2 guests with 1 bedroom and 1 bath.
The Earthship has Wifi. Guests will need to respect the limitations of the off-grid systems for power, water, and sewage and take care of the natural building finishes. The queen-size bed is a 100 percent latex futon mattress, low to the ground so it may be difficult to get in and out of bed if you are elderly. Sheets are luxurious 1200 thread count pure cotton. During your vacation stay you can enjoy delicious vegetarian breakfast ingredients, including free-range eggs and honey from the property which are supplied (but not prepared/served). The kitchen includes a double gas burner, under bench fridge (with a tiny freezer compartment), a microwave, and a wood oven which is great for making pizzas (although not recommended for use during summer months). Firewood is supplied from May to October.
Guests will have the Earthship all to themselves.
There is a steep access track from the carpark behind the vacation rental to the Earthship so it is not ideal for people with mobility issues such as wheelchairs and walkers although it is possible with some assistance.

They also use passive solar heating and cooling. Imagine no utility bills and a home that takes care of you year-round. Each Earthship is a unique design, you'll want to see them all.
