During your vacation stay, you will enjoy the spectacular view of the Gatineau Hills at the end of a small country road surrounded by forest. Enjoy the breathtaking sunsets over the Gatineau hills through the large windows, close all the lights at night and get ready for a magnificent panorama of stars. The cabin is an open-concept living space that is perfect for 2 people to sleep comfortably. The treehouse cabin has one queen-sized bed and one single-sized bed. The cabin is within walking distance to The Belvedere Wedding reception venue and Eco Odessee. It is a 6-kilometer drive to Wakefield village, restaurants, local general store, shops, community center, kayak/stand-up paddleboard/bike rentals, Vorlage ski hill, Gatineau Park trail access, hospital, and pharmacy. It is 10 kilometers from the IGA grocery store and just 3 kilometers from Edelweiss Ski hill.

Since the treehouse cabin is located in the country, there can be approximately 3 to 4 power outages a year.

It is asked that you please do not use the water if the power is out as this will drain the water supply and the owners will need to get a service call. In the spring and fall, there may be some black flies in the treehouse, they usually come out of the old logs that the treehouse is built of. Sticky fly tape and fly swatter will be provided during these transition seasons. One of the many charms of living in the country is at the property you will co-exist with the critters and flies. If this is a problem for you it may not be the vacation rental for you.

Eco odyssey is 2 kilometers down the road and offers paddle boat rentals in the water maze in the summer as well as skating on an ice maze in the winter months. There are also lovely walking trails through the forest. The Gatineau park situated 6 kilometers away offers a multitude of walking and biking trails in the summer months as well as cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter and beaches on freshwater lakes. The village of Wakefield has a beautiful boardwalk along the Gatineau river to enjoy the famous view of the red-covered bridge.
