The off-grid cabin rental can accommodate up to 2 guests with 1 bedroom, 1 bed, and 1 bath. With some of the best views in the high desert, this unique dwelling situated in the hills of yucca valley has everything you could want in a desert getaway. The cabin's clear walls take the indoor-outdoor experience to a whole new level. Shop Tiny Homes It has its deck and propane fire pit completely off the grid and generates its power from the sun. The detached kitchen and full bathroom are just yards away. It is one of three other short-term rentals on the property.
The cabin is made out of corten steel and polycarbonate, it is unlike anything you have stayed in before.
It comes with a detached full bathroom with hot water, a kitchen with a stove, a sink, all types of cooking equipment, and a dining area. Because it is completely off the grid, the cabin is limited on a few things, mainly power. The cabin has power for lights, water, and heating, but not enough for full-time refrigeration or power outlets. There are USB chargers for your phone and tablets though. The cabin does have a cooler so you'll want to bring ice. There is a fire pit so you will also want to bring plenty of firewood. The gas for the stove is provided.
The cabin is on a 100-acre property with three other short-term rental locations.
The cabin has its own detached yet private bathroom and kitchen and is a good distance from the other three locations. So you do have your privacy but may see the occasional guest driving by or hiking. Speaking of hiking there are many hiking trails right off the property so you will never need to leave. Due to the property being off-grid they have water brought in for guest usage. You will want to be mindful of your usage. There are two other short-term rentals on the 100-acre property. They are powered by 12-volt solar and battery backup so the cabin does not have power outlets. It does however have USB chargers for your phone and tablets. The cabin does not have a fridge but does have coolers so bring ice. The mini-split AC unit is on a timer due to power restrictions and is available from 8 am to 5 pm. There is a swamp cooler available to use in the evenings and overnight.
You will want to be sure and keep all doors or screens closed as the cabin is in the desert and there are critters around.
While they do have a pest control company out regularly, critters can still slip in through open doors from time to time. Pets are allowed with an additional fee. You will want to check the weather before your stay so you can be properly prepared. The cabin is in an area that can get very hot in the summer, very cold in the winter, and during certain times of the year can experience very high winds.
