This houseboat isn't just right beside the water; it's located right on the water, making it the perfect place for any water lover to stay. Think of all the fun you could have staying in a beautiful houseboat like this with your family or friends. Because when you are taking a vacation at the lake, you want to be on the water as much as possible. Shop Tiny Homes This is one of the best places to go on Lake Cumberland. The Harbour Cottage is located in Lee's Ford Marina in Nancy, Kentucky where the services are second to none. They rent out slips, watercraft and boats of all sizes. They also do boat repairs and have a ship store as well. This is a 2 bedroom houseboat cottage at the marina that's 1,000 square feet in total with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It can sleep up to 8 people, and the minimum stay is 3 nights. There's air conditioning in the house as well making it nice for the summer when it's hot. But otherwise, it's just a matter of jumping into the lake if you need to cool off. Since this houseboat is stationary, it's not able to take out on the water because it's hooked up to the shore power. That means that there's cable TV, water and electricity at your service. You can bring your own boat or rent a boat from the Marina, or maybe rent a jet ski.

There's also a restaurant right at the harbor, so you don't even have to cook your own meals if you don't want to.

A live band even plays on Saturday nights in the summer. From the outside, you'd never even know that this is a houseboat. It looks just like a little house you'd see on a city or town street. The exterior looks particularly nautical painted a deep blue with white trim and accents. There's an impressive deck around the houseboat too which would be perfect for lounging on in the summer. They've set up some patio furniture out there with an umbrella for shade, and there's a railing all the way around the deck too so if there's any pets or kids they won't be able to stumble into the water. Inside, the houseboat is just like a regular home with a full kitchen that has everything you need right in it, including a full sized fridge, stove and even a dishwasher. There are lots of cabinets filled with dishes and necessities to make your own meals if you don't feel like eating at the restaurant all the time.

Perfect for checking out the weather to see if it's good for boating. The floors in the living room are carpeted providing some extra comfort, and there is comfortable seating in there as well. The dining area is near the living area too and is also close to the kitchen making for a nice flow for the layout. French doors in the living room open up to the deck outside, which creates a connection to the lake outside. It would be really nice to leave these open to let the fresh breeze flow in. Upstairs is the loft area which has a little seating area and then a bedroom area where guests can sleep. The sofa down in the living room also pulls out into a bed for another guest too. The master bedroom and bathroom are on the main floor of the home, though. This would be a such an awesome place to spend a few weeks in the summer.
