Ash Cave Recreation Area.

Just 15 minutes west of New Plymouth in the town of Logan is the Ash Cave Recreation Area. Ash Cave is part of the Hocking Hills State Park system and features the largest recessed cave in Ohio and an impressive waterfall that flows down over the rim of the cave. There are two short trails for visitors to hike at Ash Cave, including one that is wheelchair accessible. The Ash Cave Recreational Area is open year-round from half an hour before sunrise to half an hour after sunset.

Etta's Lunchbox Cafe and Museum.

Etta's Lunchbox Cafe features traditional diner meals with almost everything on the menu being homemade. The other appeal of Etta's is the on-site lunchbox museum that is filled with over 900 items and 100 years' worth of lunchbox memorabilia. Etta's Lunchbox Cafe and Museum are open for business every day except for Wednesdays.
