For those who like the good old, classic vintage trucks and trailers, this one's going to be a showstopper.

A vintage VW truck with a classic hand-built teardrop trailer made from wood was built over six years with major precision and detail. The trailer frame was also custom built as well, and the exterior was crafted out of one-inch birchwood that was treated, stained and sealed for the elements. This stylish teardrop camper would be perfect for camping, and far more comfortable than a tent with a 6 inch Tempurpedic foam mattress and other amenities like 12V LED Lighting, reading lamps, 110V RV hook up with trickle battery charger. It's much like the teardrop trailers from the early 1900s that you can still find for sale second hand.

But it's so nice they made this one completely custom. Many people buy them second hand and then refinish them to bring them up to date. The reason mini houses on trailers have to be within these guidelines is to fit on the highway so they can be towed safely without a pilot vehicle or a special permit to tow them. The smaller the mini house or camper, the easier it will be to tow, and a small trailer like this teardrop one could even possibly be towed by a smaller car. Smaller campers will also save you gas since it doesn't weigh a lot.
